Can Georgia Tech’s Defense Carry Last Week’s Momentum To UGA?

Last weekend, Georgia Tech took to the streets and faced a Heisman Trophy nominee at quarterback, one of the best offenses in the country, and Georgia Tech shut down Drake Maye and the Tar Heels entirely.

The Yellow Jackets’ defense kept North Carolina at its season-low in points and yards, while Maye stayed at its season-low in passing yards. Georgia Tech collected six sacks (led by Keion White’s three) and 12 tackles for the loss to the Tar Heels and LaMiles Brooks intercepted Maye. It was a fantastic performance by the Yellow Vests’ defense.
