Saturday may have been college football’s craziest week ever. While this didn’t result in huge surprises, teams that were expected to win by a significant margin managed to easily carve out wins, some in dramatic fashion.
Michigan Football was one of those that fell to Illinois, while Ohio State was in a shockingly close game in Maryland. Georgia beat Kentucky by just 10, TCU beat Baylor at the last moment, and USC and UCLA found themselves in a shootout.
Then came the excitement.
Oklahoma pulverized Oklahoma State, Tennessee lost to an oddly strong South Carolina, North Carolina suffered a dramatic loss to a Georgia Tech team that controlled them early, Louisville beat NC State and Navy beat UCF.
