So, I finally got the prescription meds to stop my milk. The smell of cabbage leaves was driving me batty. Anyhoo, you take half a tab, twice a day, for two days. Today I got to wear a normal bra. No more nursing pads! Freedom! Feel like burning my (nursing) bras! Women Power! Teehee!
Not breastfeeding had also opened up my wardrobe options. Before, I had to wear things that made my breasts easily accessible. This meant that I couldn’t wear most of my dresses. Just in time for Spring, and the balmy weather we’ve been having lately!
The teething nightmare (literally, for Morris) continues! Last night, she awoke at 3AM, screaming her little head off. The pain syrup and teething gel, stopped the screaming. But Mo had a very awake baby to contend with. I feel so guilty. The meds knock me out at night, so, I’m afraid I’m not much help with the night wakings. But my psychologist pointed out that I’d carried her for nine months, so hubby could manage a few sleepless nights. 😁
