CJ Stroud, odds for other hopefuls after week 12

We’ve only got a few weeks before all the voting and pomp and circumstance comes to an end in the Heisman race. Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud has been a favorite from preseason to date, but there are other contenders in a fairly open 2022 race.

Other players who were at or near the top of our Heisman Watch piece were Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker, Alabama’s Bryce Young, Michigan’s Blake Corum and USC’s Caleb Williams, who is making a late charge. One way or another, one of the Heisman hopefuls will be doing enough over the next few weeks — including conference championship games — to have his name heard in New York City on Sunday, December 11.

Each week we break down where things stand in the Heisman race and it seems to be changing weekly in a wide-open year. Here are the top ten players with the best odds, according to Tipico, to take home the most coveted individual award in American sports after week 12 of the college football season.
