At FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” on Saturday morning, Meyer recalled a “track meeting.”

“They have good enough athletes where if Ohio State comes out flat … if they come out stumble around a little bit, Maryland is good enough to be in this game,” Meyer said. “It could turn into a course meeting. I remember we did that a few years ago when we got caught at a track meet. A track meet in College Park? That’s miserable right there.”

“I gotta be honest man,” added former USC running back Reggie Bush. “Coach, you looked stressed.”

Meyer was honest about that.

“There’s a reason I’m here,” Meyer said. “Exactly here.”
